Absolutely love this new version. The plush fabric really is softer and more substantial and the wide elastic strap across/over the plush fabric is a really nice upgrade. The fabric and elastic are so nice and soft to handle coming out of the freezer or for warmth (not too hot or too cold to handle). The plastic side with the beads really helps reduce swelling and bruising. The beads are tiny and lightweight so they work really well on tiny areas like the eyes or on children and baby’s owies that cannot handle the weight or size of a bag of peas. The outer side seam is softer than other similar products. This elevates the Hot/Cold pack to luxury status!

These paks are absolutely wonderful- they freeze up like the old-school pak of frozen peas, and conform beautifully after a 5 minute thaw and a light massage, staying very cold. I am keeping one in the fridge and one in the freezer! Dropped one star for being larger than advised in the description, so do not fit my holder, which I will eventually sew a new one to fit.
